About the project
Full redecoration and sensitive extension and reconfiguration of this Grade II listed cottage was undertaken by a lovely young couple, looking to create a warm country home and cosy counterpoint to their city workspaces.
DESIGN
Neutral walls and tumbled stone floors created a practical, hard-working backdrop where rich ochres and botanical greens bring warmth and reflect the couple’s love of the outdoors and spending time with their dogs. Keen to respect the home’s history, architectural details were celebrated, with pattern and colour used thoughtfully throughout to add detail and character without becoming overbearing.
